great discussion about the DRM. I have a couple of comments on my take.
Firstly, I’m an avg gamer, not a suit, not a developer.
I guess I’m here to voice a pro DRM stance. What I mean by that is that I want the industry to find a DRM model that works for both the devs/pubs AND the gamer.
The industry needs DRM in place, or our PC gaming future could be severely compromised. Devs will stop developing for PC. We can already see signs.
So anyways, I don’t want us to shoot ourselves in the foot by refusing any whiff of DRM, then to find ourselves with nothing to play.

Love your podcast, commented and rated on iTunes. I’m on board with you guys about not buying from Ubisoft. I think I was really getting a feel for Ubisoft’s cold shoulder for PC gamers ever since the whole fiasco with the H.A.W.X. release. You could tell how apathetic they are towards PC gamers for a while now.

HI guys,
good job, you are quality PC supporters (the corps seem to be trying to kill us and move us to shitty consoles) I would recommend that you dont be so laid back in your presentations, let us feel your passion and indignation at the way pc gamesrs are treated. the problem with dedicated servers going down and drm and all the othwer shitty things the corps are trying to pull, apart from them being dicks, is that gamers are not sticking together and not buying these products. holding back our dollars (pounds) is the only way to tell them that we’re not happy, but people keep spending them. These actions are forcing people to pirate which will hopefully send a message. long live the PC !!! p.s. check out epicbattleaxe podcasts these guys are just as pissed with the state of play.
