For the Nvidia Fermi you neglected to mention the high amount of heat that it produces.

To have a little fun, and go extreme with required precautions for your motherboard with a couple of fermi cards in yours case i would want:

Case: Lian li 343b with 3 full watercooling loops.

A big thanks goes out to you guys on discussing my Dreamcast article and new rig.

Regarding some info on the whole Sega/Dreamcast thing:

One – Sega chose a proprietary storage media called GD-ROM (Giga Disc) that was developed by Sega and Yamaha. And yes, it held up to 1GB of data.

Two – you guys are correct on all accounts of why the Dreamcast died and Sega left the hardware business. Sega lost tons of money on the Sega CD, 32X, and Saturn systems. Sony whomped on Sega pretty badly during the 32-bit era and then crushed them in the 128-bit era by simply introducing the DVD drive in the PS2. Sony knew that they would recoup any loses from hardware sales through their software sales.

Three – Sonic Team developed Sonic and other great games for Sega. They were Sega’s in-house development team along with AM-2. Sega has since disbanded Sonic Team. Why? Not sure.

    Anyways, great podcast as usual.

Thanks for posting my complete review on the new system.

I am now off to do a game review for the Sega Dreamcast. Which game? Which game? There are so many good ones to choose from. :-)
