Kommie’s Game-of-the-Week Report

Hey everyone, its your down-in-the-dumps bamboo-eating Panda Bear, TheRed|Kommie. Starting Today, and hopefully every Wednesday, I am going to post a new game of the week. This week’s is: Beat Hazard.
Beat Hazard is a game powered and only limited by your Music selection (that you just happen to have on your pc!). At 34 meg download and currently $7.49 on steam, this game combines music and gameplay in a fun way. Think acid-trip mixed with Asteroids and whatever mood music you are into at the moment! The colors, enemies and flow of the game change with the beat and speed of the music you are listening too!
A lot of steam support for this game that you need to check out from the store page. And yes there is a demo! I watched BigJoe, ChangWizzle, The Fascinator and Black Thunder playing this game earlier, and they all seemed to be enjoying it. ChangWizzle’s taste in old school Gorillaz didn’t seem to be working as the game kept throwing big bosses at him! The Thunder O’Black had some new age going on while BigJoe had Mother from Danzig going. I cannot for the life of me remember what Fas was listening too… I seem to think it was boring.
Anyways check it out, and let us know. I’ll just be sitting here alone, chewing on some bamboo, munching away…. man I gotta go poo. [TMI]

No title for the post TheRed|Kommie? Its ok. I plan to check out the demo, probably won’t buy it soon because as a college student, I’m strap for cash.

Need to go find some fun with a girl panda or there wont be any panda’s around mucn longer as I far I hear. I saw the demo go up on steam here in the UK thismorning so I will check it out tonight and get back to comment asap. So if I want intense hard gameplay it sounds that I need to find some danish hardcore techno and for easy gameplay some old country saloon bar lost my wife and my house and my dog on the same day music.

It would be cool to rock to this games with KISS or Iron Maiden. Yeah, I’m old-school. So what?

POO FOR EVERYONE! Yeah James, I wasn’t able to fall asleep last night, so I grabbed what I posted on the steam community page that I posted and threw it up here, but just forgot to add the title. THANKS BT for putting it up and also adding in the part about the Free copy… how do you say you get the free copy.. LISTEN TO THE PODCAST!!!

I picked up and played the demo for Beat Hazard once so far and I can honestly say its great. The visuals are stunning, and the gameplay addictive.

OK played it on a laptop and it is the right place I feel for it as it runs great and makes any laptop look half good.
